Audition Length

Audition time is limited to 5 minutes per person.

Checking In

Please plan to arrive early to give yourself adequate preparation time. We are recommending you shoot for being 30 minutes early so you can find parking, check in, confirm your information and prepare for your audition. Also, we might have you go in early if you are ready and we are running ahead of schedule.

Memorized Monologues

A memorized audition monologue is not required but strongly recommended. We are encouraging veteran actors (those who’ve been in five or more shows) to bring a prepared piece. For those without a prepared piece, cold reading monologues will be made available.

Musical Auditions

If you are auditioning for a musical you must bring 16 bars of sheet music for a prepared audition piece. The music must be in the correct key. We cannot change keys during the audition.

Questions

If you have questions about monologues or musical auditions, we recommend you attend one of the audition workshops. Please see the workshop page for more information. If you cannot attend but have questions, please feel free to email the OAL coordinators at olympiaauditionleague@gmail.com
